Frequently asked questions
My donkeys has never been registered - can I get them registered with IMDR?
As long as your donkey is under 38" in height they can be registered.

has a self inspection form which must be signed by which the owner certify that this
donkey is free from any major faults which would not allow regular registration.
If my donkey has some major faults, can it still be registered? Yes - IMDR has a Pet
Quality category that donkeys can be registered under. This category is for donkeys
who should not be bred (foals can not be registered out of pet quality donkeys) but
still are wonderful pets.

background is not required for registration. Just provide the information you know
on the application.

registration
When does a donkey qualify for permanent registration? When they reach 2 years of age.
Do you require photos on foals? Not it they are under 6 months of age - you just need to
send in the application and the fees on foals.
